Journalism graduate, wordsmith

I’m | a journalism graduate from Canada contending with the human condition.

I started working on this website in order to motivate myself – and others – to push forward through the existential suffering commonly experienced by humanity. Life is hard, painful and discouraging, however, individuals can grow stronger, become resilient, gradually integrated and finally, self-actualized.

The Point of Meaning is a reminder that our lives and choices need to mean something. Pursuing meaning, rather than aiming for an elusive, constant, state of happiness, is the first step in acknowledging a life with purpose.

Reasons to push forward are all around us once we make the effort to notice them. I encourage you to ask questions, seek answers, and investigate the correlations between the puzzle pieces forming our existential universe.

This is your life and time – it has to mean something – make it count.

My sense of meaning is derived from understanding and knowledge, its discovery, sharing it and explaining general material with others, as part of meaningful interpersonal relationships or human moments, serving to honour personal values and ultimately, orienting my being and self, as an individual, to manifest my life in dedication to authenticity, honesty and truth.

People find meaning in various places, examples such as starting and caring for a family, playing an instrument, starting a business, sport competitions, collecting valuables, religion and more.

Have you discovered your sense of meaning?

“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
