Yes Roxana, And please be sure the incoming car sees you before turning your back to that car. As I ride my bike or car I witness daily “almost accidents” from distracted crossings. Yesterday I almost run into a scooter rider who was going against traffic on a one way street. I turned and almost run into him who was coming right into my front end. It’s a marvel that more accidents don’t happen.
